[Pickup] Impromptu Hat Tournament - Saturday, 9/9 at Cass

Hello all-

   We are pleased to announce a serendipitous unfolding: IAUA will be
hosting an "Impromptu Hat Tournament" this Saturday at Cass Park.
Everyone is welcome, no gender or skill level requirements.  Just show
up and get assigned to a team.  The details:

Saturday, Sept 9 at Cass Park.  The cost is $5 per person.
Registration commences at noon.  Teams will be assigned at 1PM, and play
should last until 5PM.
We will provide bagels, fruit, and non-alcoholic beverages.  If you want
alcohol, please bring your own.  Plus an extra bottle for me.

How it works:  Show up, sign up, pay the fee, and get assigned to a team.
You'll play several games with your team in a round robin format.

The theme: "Impromptu".  Please dress up as your unexpected, unprepared
best.  Disheveled appearances, bed-head, mismatched socks, badly drawn
makeup are all good directions to go.  Interpret the theme as you please.

Must you dress up in an unpredictable manner?  Of course not.  But its
highly encouraged, and those that do will be entered in a random drawing
for an unforeseen prize.  Also, there will be a prize for the costume that
best interprets the theme.
