hard cuts on wet ground makes groundskeeper Willy unhappy.  And you don't want to see an angry Willy now do you?

just being considerate of the space is all I ask.  And if you can avoid our precious inlet field it would be even better.

I'm assuming that as long as there's no standing water on the fields we're
good to play.  (I'm sure Sue will correct me if I'm wrong with that.) 
Sure, it says it might rain.  Pfft, I remember the good ol' days when the
pickup regulars showed up no matter what the weather did - rain, sun, or
snow.  Game on!  As promised, my poem continues.

The pickup rats are a nutty bunch
Noah needs to learn to read
and Jim will eat you for lunch
while Jimmy puts on a burst of speed

Pace is always good for the huck
unless the heckling is too much
Barry hopes golf will bring him luck
Dan's bones quickly go crunch.
